Fello - Homeward Integration

Learn how to integrate with Homeward to display Homeward cash offers within Fello and in Contact Dashboards.

Homeward is a leading home buying service that partners with agents to help buyers and sellers in their respective journeys. Homeward provides cash offers to homeowners in select states. Check Availability

The Homeward Integration in Fello enables your agents and contacts to view and finalize Homeward cash offers.

Set Up the Integration


Here's how to set up the integration: 

  • Go to Settings > Integrations > Available Apps.
  • Click Connect App next to Homeward.

  • Click Next in the popups that appear and then click Connect.


The integration is now complete. The next sections in this page will cover how your agents and contacts can use the integration. 

Homeward Cash Offers Within Fello

Your agents can view Homeward cash offers within Fello and then share them with your contacts. Here's how: 

  • Go to the Contacts module and click on a contact. 
  • Select a property from the right pane. 
  • View the estimated cash offer from the Homeward card on the right. 

  • Click Get Prelim Offer to view the actual cash offer from Homeward. 
  • Click Finalize Offer if you're okay with the offer and would like to proceed to share it with your contacts. 

You will now be directed to Homeward's site where you can view details of the final offer and share it with your contacts. You can also create a cash offer manually with the finalized price to display it in the Offers section in Contact Dashboards. 

Homeward Cash Offers in Contact Dashboards


The Selling Options module in the Contact Dashboard can display a Homeward block which your contacts can use to initiate a cash offer request. Here's how to enable it:

  • Go to Marketing > Contact Dashboard
  • Select a dashboard. 
  • Click on the Selling Options module and enable it if you haven't already.

  • Enable the Homeward block under the Selling Options tab.

  • Customize the block as required and click Save.

Now, the Homeward block will be visible for available properties in Contact Dashboards.



When contacts click Get My Offer in this block, they will be prompted to enter a few more details and submit their request. You can view these submissions within the Property Details page in Fello, which you can refer to before finalizing the deal with your contact. 

Disable the Integration


To disable the integration: 

  • Go to Settings > Integrations > Connected Apps.
  • Click the Actions dropdown near Homeward
  • Select Overview.
  • Click Disconnect App in the top right.
  • Type "disconnect" in the popup that appears and click Disconnect.

Now, Homeward cash offers will not be visible within Fello and Contact Dashboards. Any offers that were finalized before will still be available in your Homeward account.

Troubleshooting


If the Homeward cash offer is not available for a property, it could be due to one of the following restrictions from Homeward's side:

  • Unsupported Region: The property is outside of Homeward's supported markets. Check Availability
  • Sale Value: The property's sale value is outside of Homeward's supported price range.
  • Lot Size: The property's lot size is outside of Homeward's supported range.
  • Property Type: The property's type is not supported by Homeward. (Each property has an associated type with it, such as Family or Condo.)
  • Year Built: The year the property was built is not supported by Homeward. (This usually applies to older properties.)
  • Property Address: The property's address is not supported by Homeward, even though the property is in a supported state. 
  • Listing Status: The property's listing status in an MLS is not supported by Homeward.
