When introducing the mindset needed for this challenge, Jon addressed a common criticism head-on: "I hear it all the time... 'Cheplak, he just talks mindset.' Yeah, cool. So you're consistent, you're disciplined. You can handle the monotony of what it requires to be successful every day. Well, I guess then saying the same thing over and over again around mindset is really, really critical."

This statement encapsulates Jon's approach perfectly — genuine transformation requires consistency in both mindset and action. Let's dive into the key takeaways from Jon's session that you can apply throughout the 30 Day Listing Challenge.

Emotion Creates Motion

Jon emphasized that sustained action requires emotional connection: "If you don't have what you do attached to something that absolutely emotionally charges you, you will not sustain it." This isn't about fleeting motivation but about identifying what truly matters to you.

Action Step: Write down what emotionally charges you in a Challenge journal or notes. What's the one thing in your life that you would love to have changed by March 31st as a result of your work during this Challenge? Focus on something deeply meaningful that will pull you forward on difficult days.

The Three-Part Framework

Jon outlined a three-part framework that serves as a foundation for consistent success:

  1. Mission: "A man or woman on a mission can't lose." Your mission serves a greater good and provides unwavering direction.
  2. Values: The experiences you want people to have of you and that you want to have with them.
  3. Principles: The laws you live by — personal responsibility, commitment, accountability, and contribution.

Action Step: Document your mission, values, and principles. Review them each morning before starting your day's activities for the Challenge.

Accountability is Love

Jon reframed how we should view accountability: "Accountability is the highest form of love you can show a human being." He challenged participants to see accountability not as a burden but as a gift.

Action Step: Find an accountability partner for the 30 Day Challenge in our exclusive Facebook group. Share your daily minimum standard activities with them and commit to checking in regularly. Remember: "Average people wait for accountability; champions move toward accountability."

Focus on Process, Not Outcome

A crucial mindset shift Jon advocated was to "release yourself from the outcome." Instead of fixating on how many listings you'll get, focus on the process — your daily minimum standard activities.

Action Step: Define your minimum core fundamental daily activities. Create a checklist and track these activities every day. When you fall short, don't ruminate on the outcome; return immediately to the process.

Micro Wins Build Success

Jon emphasized that "everything big is built on the back of micro commitments." Success in the Challenge isn't about massive breakthroughs but about consistent small wins.

Action Step: Celebrate your "micro wins" each day. Jon recommends: "Know what your minimum fundamental daily activities are... and have 30 micro wins." Document these wins daily to build momentum.

When Derailed, Be a Witness Not a Judge

When things don't go as planned, Jon advises: "Be a witness, not a judge." Instead of judgmental self-talk, observe what happened and ask: "What is this teaching me about me that I needed to learn?"

Action Step: Create a "lessons learned" section in your Challenge notes. When you face setbacks, document what you're learning rather than criticizing yourself.

Final Thought: The Real Win

CEO Ryan, the host, summed up Jon's message perfectly: "The real win. It's not whether you took the gold medal, it's ultimately where you're at at the end of the competition."

Jon agreed, adding that the most important message participants could send at the end of the 30 days is not about how many listings they took, but, "here's how I changed my life."

As you engage in the 30 Day Listing Challenge, remember Jon's challenge: "Tell me how you're gonna lose if you become a better person in the next 30 days."

That's the ultimate victory — not just more listings, but becoming someone who consistently creates success from the inside out.
