How to Add a Video Block on a Landing Page

Introducing a new feature to the Fello platform - Landing Pages with 'Video' Block.

This feature will allow you to embed a video into your existing landing pages effortlessly by simply copying the video embed code from the video platform. This helps in amplifying user engagement of the landing pages. Follow the steps below to add a video block on your Fello landing page.

 

Step 1: Navigate to Marketing >> Landing Pages >> Account. Click on 'Create New'

 

Step 2: Select a landing page template where you want to add the video block and click on 'Continue'.

 

Step 3: Enable the toggle button as show below and add the video embed code in the 'Enable Video' block and click on 'Save' on top right corner. Check out the end of this article to see how to get an embed code from Youtube.

 

Step 4: A single video can be incorporated into all tabbed landing pages as well. The video will then be viewable across all tabs, creating a consistent and engaging visual experience for visitors.

Note:

1. The video block can be added to any of your existing landing pages as well. You can just click on the edit icon as shown below and follow the same steps as above.

2. You can always disable the video from the landing page if you don't need it anymore. Just click on the toggle button again and 'disable' the video block.

3. You can also change the video that you want to display by just changing the embed code in the 'Enable Video' block.

Finding the embed code on YouTube or Vimeo

Finding the embed code on YouTube:

  1. Go to YouTube.
  2. Navigate to the video you wish to embed.
  3. Click the Share link below the video, then click the Embed link.
  4. The embed link will be highlighted in blue. You will need to copy this link in order to add it to your page.


Finding the embedded code on Vimeo:

  1. Go to Vimeo.
  2. Navigate to the video you wish to embed.
  3. Click the Share button, in the top right corner of your video.
  4. A pop-up will appear with the embed link information. You will need to copy only the <iframe> portion of the embed link in order to add it to your page.
    1. Example:
      1. Entire embed link shows the following:
        1. <iframe src="https://player.vimeo.com/video/1233456789" width="640" height="360" frameborder="0" allow="autoplay; fullscreen" allowfullscreen></iframe><p><a href="https://vimeo.com/1233456789">1- Automation Opening[2]</a> from <a href="https://vimeo.com/user98765432">R1 Marketing</a> on <a href="https://vimeo.com">Vimeo</a>.</p>
      2. You only want to copy the <iframe> portion:
