"Claim a property" for homeowners

Introducing "Claimed Properties" to boost contact engagement by providing accurate contact information

This feature is designed to enhance communication personalization and improve overall user engagement. Let's break down how this feature operates and the benefits it offers.

1. Claiming a Property

The "Claimed Properties" feature enables homeowners to claim a property, ensuring they receive relevant information and marketing materials based on their claimed property. This process not only personalizes their experience but also provides agents with more accurate contact information for their 'home value leads'.

1.1: Property Claiming Prompt: When a homeowner selects an Engage email link, a prompt to claim a property is triggered. The homeowner can confirm their name and phone number to secure the property. 

The claimed property is then tagged and displayed in their personal homeowner dashboard as well as the agent's Connect platform.

1.2: Property Disassociation and Addition: Homeowners have the option to disassociate from a property by selecting the "Not Yours? Add New" option. They can also add a new property. The disassociated property is retained without contact details, while new properties added after clicking the Engage email are labelled as 'Claimed'.

2. Landing on Claimed Property Dashboard

Post claiming a property, the homeowner will be directed to the dashboard of their claimed property upon selecting the email link. This means homeowners can now directly access the specific property information they need without any additional navigation.

3. Differentiating Clicks from Views

In order to provide comprehensive insights into homeowner interactions, the user interaction data is now categorized into 'clicks' and 'home value views'. 'Clicks' are documented when users interact with an email, whereas 'home value views' are tracked when users land on the home value dashboard.

4. Filtering Contacts

The Connect platform now includes added filter options such as "Property claim status". These filters provide the ability to sort contacts based on these criteria and customize communication strategy effectively.

The new "Property claim status" feature brings greater accuracy to contact information and improves communication between agents and homeowners.
